Bringing constant changes can be the most frightful thing and the most rewarding thing at the same time. Human Beings are notorious in the way to hate changes, but in today’s tech world, all that matters is being at the top and retain the user base. Facebook is known to bring a variety of changes every month to its websites called as latest facebook updates to support either the consumer base, the creators or the various business that use Facebook and its services (think the rather infamous WhatsApp privacy policy changes).
In the article, we have put together some of the latest Facebook updates brought upon the site.
Facebook Launched the Creator Studio: The March update brought us the Creator Studio which will now help the various creators on Facebook to monetize their content on the Facebook platform.
According to the global survey conducted by Facebook, creators who earned around $10,000 dollars a month saw an increase of 88% in 2020 when compared to 2019.
Hence, the Creator Studio was brought in to help not only the existing creators to streamline their experience but to also help the new content creators.
Stars Program: Taking a page right out of the various live-streaming websites, Facebook introduced the Stars Program. Through this, the creators now can receive stickers and “stars” directly from the viewers of the stream.
The creators hence will be able to cash in those stars to boost their earnings. Facebook also introduced loyalty badges for those who will send stars to creators, hence help them stand out amongst the entire viewers. Their comments now will be pinned where other will be able to see. Facebook also introduced virtual gifts for viewers to send to their favorite content creators.
Paid online events to expand more: Due to the current pandemic, more and more people have now shifted to virtual online events, and Facebook has made it a point to cash in on this new market trend.
Facebook had introduced the paid online event feature way back in August, but it was a limited feature only available in few countries. Now this feature has been expanded to over 24 additional countries.
In addition to launching this feature to more countries, Facebook also plans to launch fan subscription feature to 10 more markets.
